Last Days

Yea so I saw Last Days recently (the film loosely based off the last couple days of Kurt Cobain's life) and it was the most god aweful piece of ass I have ever seen.

 

What are your thoughts on this cinematic abortion?

I can't say that I enjoyed it... but I did appreciate it. Gus Van Sant is one of the the only semi-name directors in Hollywood who has the balls to try to do different things, so for that alone I watch his films.

im afraid to see it because i think it's a horrible concept. especially if nothing new is offerred to the story.

i don't like gus, i find his movies boring. sure they're different but that doesn't make them any good. i remember watching 'elephant' thinking it would be good and i strugled through it and it was only like 80 min long. he uses too many extended shots like the one where the guy finishes playing football or whatever and then walks all the way across the field and through the school
