prototypepariah Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 Ok humor me here, on Mattgood.net is there anything music related other than to buy the new cd on there? I see the politcal stuff, but nothing "hey new record, or playing a date here" maybe someone could save me the trouble and give me the lowdown?
MotherRocker Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 There is no news related to his music for now.

Crusader Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 And basically we post his music related news when he either tells us here or we find out about it.
saturnine Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 (edited) matthew good isn't a musician, he's a blogger. Edited January 25, 2006 by saturnine
gilleywompas Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 That's a harsh comment. I'm sure he's working on his music as well as blogging.
bishopx Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 I truly enjoy Matt's music, and I find some of his views refreshing. Having said that, I too wish his website had more musical content. In the end though, I glad he has the beliefs he has, and has the backbone to share them. Anything is better than a number of vapid, imbeciles like the Britneys and Jessicas, of the world...who have no minds to speak of. Matt excercises his rights as a citizen of the world, and his role as a celebrity to educate his fans and broaden their minds...shouldn't we appreciate that? Bishopx
saturnine Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 That's a harsh comment. I'm sure he's working on his music as well as blogging. perhaps, but the 200:1 ratio of anti-everything rhetoric to music-related information is aggravating, to say the least

gilleywompas Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 I think you guys take for granted the fact that he even communicates his views and has a blog in the first place. Most artists have a website controlled by their management or label and you don't hear anything until just before a new album drops and they need some hype. Matt on the other hand posts info about what he's recording, and when he's recording it. If you don't like all the blogging and political viewpoints then check out his page on the Universal site. http://umusic.ca/matthewgood/#info
_trevor Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 matthew good isn't a musician, he's a blogger. haha isnt that the truth. Still i would like to see more of his blog contain more stuff about music, once a week or something would be nice.

He's known for his work with a band from back in the nineties, that's not really "celebrity" status. Don't get me wrong I like lots of musicians and bands who are known and definitely not celebrities, and that's cool, but I think that the term is mis-used sometimes.

He is well known especially in Canada, and has a fairly strong influence. If this site itself isn't enough, do you think anyone would read his blog if it wasn't for his "cleb" status?
Matt Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 His fans read the blog, so what? That doesn't make him a celebrity, he's still just known.
