gah, you butcher both...trying to have a realistic debate about which would win between star wars and star trek just isnt possible...both ignore far too many rules of physics, ex: exceeding the speed of light, to really take into an honest debate....

 

 

besides, star wars, something called a death star...let us see the federation of planets defeat that!

well the first one...but the second was fully functional, and calibrated to destroy capital ships...besides, if we want to go uber-nerdy (which i do) we can look towards the novels for sources of star wars technologies, for example the star (or is it sun) crusher, the super star destroyers,...gah i have to find that book

No one said it'd be just the federation VS teh Starwars people, it's Star Trek, that includes Klingons, Borgs, Ferengi, Cardassian, Bejoran, Talaxians, Hirojan, Ocompans, Vulcans, Romulans, Trill, Federation, Species 8472 and many, many more.

I'd say Star Trek just because I really like "Deep Space Nine", and "Enterprise". The other series are allright, but I like those two better.
