I bought it the day it came out. I skipped classes, as I would on any other day, anyways, so that I could not have to wait as I'm the impatient sort of fella.

It' the hazard of buying it the day it comes out, I guess. I rushed to CD Warehouse the morning after the 2nd Ottawa show, foolishly thinking there might be some demand for it. There was a big stack of them on the shelf and nobody else in the store :\

I do, however, remember getting an unopened Loser Anthems for about $12 after Crusader gave the heads up ;)

I had to wait for the guy at A&B Sound to price WLRRR before I could buy it. Apparently those kinds of things aren't done before the store opens.

The closest FYE has a used copy of Audio of Being for 49 cents (US). I thought about buying it, but I figure three is enough. Maybe I'll pick it up and give it to someone.

I remember when it sold for $0.99 on Amazon. I thought it was a joke, and was confused for a while. I thought about buying one, but I already had 2 copies so I didn't.

EDIT: As I read this back I realize how lame it sounds.

2 Copies? One in the crystal packaging [like any 'normal' CD, not actual crystal, el oh el zed] and the one with cardboard fold out?

christ dude...

sarcastic smart-ass remarks lose their power (if they had any) when you use them with every fucking post you make. Why not throw in a couple of neutral posts once in a while? you know- mix it up- show that you have some diversity- that you can be more than a one-trick-pony.

oh, wait...

It is called a jewel case.

Actually jewel was the word I was looking for, couldn't find, and thus used "Crystal." Thanks for clearing it up.

Even though getting the CD for $0.99 would have been sweet, nothing could replace the adventures my friend and I had picking up that CD from the record store the day it was released. It will forever be known as the "Matthew Good Day" to us. B)
