America: The Book

So, who else here has this book?

To me, it's proved to be endlessly funny... I can pick it up and open the book and start reading it, and it never quite loses its charm. Stewart makes really good use of satire, as well as mocking anything that there is to be mocked.

I quite enjoyed Samantha Bee's articles in the book.

"Pardon me but can I interest you in a book about Canada?"

I heard that Jon Stewart made the top 100 most influencial list on some magazine (Time maybe?)

Yeah, it was time, and I really have to say that he is one of the smartest guys on tv. I don't get a chance to see his show a whole lot, but when I get the chance, I don't miss it.

I'll have to check that book though...

Not only is the book amazing, but I got to bring it up in one of my classes last semester.

I miss TDS so much (this is what I get for being in England for 5 months without SKYtv)
