I'm sure it's a common sentiment, but I cannot stand this show. Can't stand any of the artists this show spawned either. Who would actually buy a Clay Aiken album?? Seriously.

I watched the first season out of curiousity. After that, no thanks.

 

Kelly Clarkson is my current guilty pleasure, however. For what it's worth.

The existence of a Clay Aiken album is due to it being mostly females voting. I am usually disappointed with the winners, but I do enjoy watching the show anyways.

why are people so intent on making losers famous for a year beore they fade into near obcurity doing b-movies and hollywood squares? i saw ryan starr (who? exactly) in a movie i've never heard of with a cast of people i've never heard of.. granted, i really have no idea who ryan starr is except that she was on the surreal life and apparently american idol. she's better to look at than fucking johhny wong or whatever the fuck that loser's name was, but that's not saying much

Constantine is kinda sexy, I think...

I don't know, I think that show's a career-killer in a way though, Although Kelly Clarkson appears to be doing well for herself. She's got a great voice, though. I must admit, although I hate pop music, I have mad respect for a good vocalist. Which is why I sometimes watch. It's interesting sometimes.
