well this one time i was talking to saturnine and he sent me matt good songs and i decided that day that i was moving to utah so that i could marry him and matt both

maybe i should leave a story since i did start this post. about 2-3 years ago, i was uh.....making out....with my boyfriend (now ex) in my jeep and we were blaring MGB when in the middle of Symbolistic White Walls i heard a loud bang. i turned down the music and heard a man yelling. well, it was a cop. we were in a park when we got the urge, and apparently our music could be heard across the park and some jerk called the cops. it was like 2:00 in the afternoon, and the officer thought it was funny. i didn't think it was so funny....well, till a couple months later. Now i think it's "fucking" hilarious! cheers.

Actually I have a similar story. My ex-boyfriend and I were making out in my car on this back road in the country to Prime Time Deliverance. Then this car with these 3 guys pulled up and threatened to smash in all my windows with a baseball bat unless we talked to them about why we were there.

Someone had been tresspassing on his field or something, and so he threatened anyone around there. It was completely nuts.

there were these times when matt did shows and i didn't get to go but i got to hear about them from elsewhere. that's a rip-rockin story.

this one time, I was hyperactive cause I was going to the Matt show that evening, and then he was interviewed on the radio and he said he would hang out after the show to meet fans. And so I hung around, and he showed up and I got autographs and a photo with him, and then I was so deleriously happy that I almost got in a car accident on the way home.

avalanche tour - toronto - before the show, my fondest memory would be when the_rat_who_would_be_king and the rest of us got bored. so i encouraged him to blow up his complimentary condom from edge 102 and start hitting it around like a beach ball. before we knew it, there were flying condoms aimed at the dears and their lousy set. (just for the record, i like the dears, but i didnt enjoy them live... they were really boring to watch. openers arent supposed to put you to sleep)

 

wlrrr university/college tour - barrie - my memory of that show would be the drunken idiots moshing to 'apparitions'. i wanted to kill someone and it looked like matt did too. also, before the show my friend mike went upstairs to the washroom and he got to pee beside matt good!!!! i went upstairs after he told us what had happened and i got to see matt making good use of 'the first class', our student lounge area, and eating pizza.

My first love said Strange days reminded her of me, I asked why its kind of a depressing song, she simply said it was the first time you held me.

My cousin's friend died in a car crash and his favourite song was Indestructible.

Chances are he was probably listening to the song at the time of the crash.

Concert story! Not really what the topics about but I found this amusing anyway!

After one of Matthew Good's concerts, me and a few of my buddies went and hung out with Matt and the band for a bit, well, more the band, we had to line up to talk to Matt, who was sitting in his bus, but Rich and Pat stayed outside and talked to everyone. Well, we lined up to see Mr. Good, and my friend Matty went up to him and went "Matthew Good...can I have a hug?" Matthew Good didn't hesitate to reach across and put his arms around my friend, it was actually kind of sweet and cute.

Then my friend went up to Rich Priske and went "Can I have a hug?" Rich then kind of snorted and went "Um, no! How bout a handshake?" He kind of seemed like an asshole, but it was funny nonetheless.

I remember once I was watching Much Music, and someone requested Anti-Pop, and sent it out to everyone who hates pop. Word.

 

I don't know why I remember that.

wlrrr, dusk,and cant get shot remind me of driving around in a golf cart picking up golf balls at the driving range i worked at last summer. that was damn good times, im totally workin there this summer again!

I remeber when Avalanche first came out my buddy I both bought copies after school before we had a to work so we could listen to them while we worked (washing dishes!).

When we got there we started to listen and were both amazed and very excited at how great the new CD was. It was then that another girl (a real bitch at that) turned it off and put in 50 cent....That meant war.

So we did what any other loyal matthew good fan would do, we turned the shitty rap off! This did not go over well with "the bitch" she put 50 back on...we put matt back on but this time we constructed an impenitrable fortress out of dishes rags and dish racks. When the girl tried to put her music back on the fortress collapsed and fell down on her (the CD player was on a shelf) and she raged on us (up untill then it was an silent war). The more she yelled the harder we laughed which in turn made her yell more. Good times.
