Good Albums

I've bought many cd's lately and have stumbled on some great all around albums.

 

Alot of good bands have weak albums, but these ones, in my opinion, kinda stand out as great cd's.

 

 

Big Wreck - The pleasure and the Greed

Blind Melon - Soup

Alice in Chains - Greatest hits 2001

Mad Season - Above

Pearl Jam - Rear View Mirror

Stone Temple Pilots - Be 4

Meat Puppets - Too High to Die

Limblifter - Bellaclava

The strokes - Room is on Fire

Cake - Fashion Nugget

 

Any other suggestions?

I prefer I/O to Bellaclava but still good nonetheless. I went back and listened to Age of Electric's "make a pest a pet". Fantastic. As well as The Living End (self titled)

well, i think maybe you should ditch that alice in chains greatest hits bullshit and actually buy their albums. or at least one of them, it doesn't really matter which one, just one that doesn't involve the words "best of" or "greatest hits".

 

i'm really proud of you for having mad season on your list though. <3

but seriously, i have all the Alice in Chains CD's exept sap or the promo stuff. I'm biased to the greatest hits one because it's got the heavier stuff on it.

 

Mad Season, motherlove bone, temple of the dog is all good stuff too.

 

Havent' listened to the Age of Electric cd though. Does the cover to that cd have a cartoon char. with a pencil in his ear?

I got the "antarctica" cd and it's pretty good too.
