Jesus is this band ever good. Magnificent, lush orchestral pop from Denmark; coming on like My Bloody Valentine, Mercury Rev and all that, with an added optimistic edge.

 

Frengers is an album well worth its weight in gold; especially "Am I Wry? No", "She Came Home for Christmas", "She Spider".

 

The whole fucking thing is orgasmically good.

Mew good. I actually saw the video for "Am I Wry? No" in Mexico last year, and intended to check more out when I got back, but I forgot who it was I was looking for and got caught up with school starting and whatnot. Unlike all of my friends (who hate Sigur Ros for the same reason) I like the vocals.
