I had never heard any Wilco before I listened to A Ghost is Born, and I must say it is not often that I have been so moved simply by music. It instantly became one of my all time favourite records. Usually I am not inclined to "buy the hype" but I think Wilco deserves all teh praise they receive.

YHF is a great album. A Ghost is Born is solid. I just recently picked up Summerteeth, it ain't bad either. Though i've only listened to it a couple of times.
