Higher Ground And Mgb

I was JUST watching Higher Ground.. for the first time ever really.. and there was a group of kids in the woods.. and this guy and girl get into an argument and its supposed to be sombre.. and during the scene.. Running For Home was playing.. for about 2.5 minutes! Not only that, but it was a slightly altered version.. the song sounded very echoey.. which made Matt's vocals even more haunting.

 

What a way to grab a new fan to the show.. im gonna be watching that show from now on lol.

It's about some like abused teens that go to this like wilderness school.. to try and get themselves back on the right road.. you know like through challenging them and making them experience some crazy stuff in life.

Is that show still making new episodes, the last time that was aired here in the US was about 3 or 4 years ago, and they showed maybe 5 different episodes on abc family or something...

haha no idea.. i never heard of the show before.. and i was just channel surfing.. and it played like 5 sec after i put it to channel 11..

which is CH CH *a hamilton station* but its ch 11 in toronto.. i dunno what channel it is there

ironically, i have cable, and i never watch tv.

 

when i do, i watch law and order (the original!), or randomly funny shows, like spongebob and the simpsons and others.

 

but please, enlighten me as well... any show good enough to recognize the potential of Good music must have some qualities.

 

and yes, i'm a cynic where television is concerned. burn cnn and fox.

Higher Ground was a Vancouver shot drama that is a few years old. Matt's song is probably in it since it's a Vancouver show. It's probably on reruns somewhere, and you might recognize a young Anakin Skywalker in his first role.

Yeah, it had that girl that was on that other kids show, from Canada, i forgot what its name was, so this post doesn't really solve anything.
