How Come I Was Not Informed Of This Earlier?

So last night I was channel surfing when I come across The Pixies playing on David Letterman. They played Monkey Gone To Heaven with that Paul Shaffer guy doing some stuff on the keyboards with it, was pretty cool. My only regret is that I didn't know about it earlier so I could tape it.

 

Another good late night TV moment last night...after Simple Plan was done playing on Jimmy Kimmel, he thanked Sum 41 for being there. The fuuny part is most would say he was close enough.

Well, not really. Besides, Sum 41 will be around for much longer than Simple Plan anyways (especially with the direction of the new album)...

Pixies weren't even a top band at their peak, their music is a little too incoherent for my liking.

They're showing the Letterman with the Pixies on, right now. You can stilll catch it on CBS, they're only with the first guest right now.

 

EDIT: Just being sure no one thinks I'm some maniac who thinks they're time-travelling, yes, it's a repeat. Duh.

I think to really understand the Pixies you had to be there when they first hit the music scene and started offering something more that wasn't there before.

 

I wasn't into them at the time, but I do like them now.
