I'm sure some of you have seen this, but for those who haven't our best friend Ashlee Simpson got owned on SNL. You can check out the video here (check out her dance, its MAGIC I tell you, MAGIC):

I'm so happy when people who have no talent prove me right.

That pretty mucy sums it up. For all those singers who go on American Idol, for all those siblings of other famous musical siblings, for all those Britney Spears/Hilary Duffs of the world: you all deserve shame when you pull this kind of stuff. The fact that you and money hungry record companies/managers manipulate pop music and more importantly, kids into buying disposable music which will be forgotten about in a few years makes me sick.

 

Is that a rant? Well, whatever it was, it felt good!!!

What a total bitch she was to try to place the blame on her band, saying they played the wrong song. Don't you think they would remember which song they arlready played?

Sweet sweet justice, too bad the same thing didn't happen to all those other "fakes" out there! You gotta love the stupid dance she did though, kinda makes me feel sorry for her.....na!!!

You could see them smirking as they kept playing long after Ashlee left the stage - you could tell the lead guitarist was thinking "I never have to play on this ridiculous pink guitar again...."

It has happened to Britney so many times, but I think she doesn't even try to pretend she sings anymore.

Firstly, Simpson was probably fed those words from her manager. Second, I wouldn't be surprised if the band just told her to blame them, because they all know what kind of 'group' they're in anyways and how they're getting a quick ride to stardom on Ashlee's back. I mean, she wasn't going to say: "sorry for lip-syncing, I suck...", even though everyone already knows that!!

It's not like it hasn't happened to others before, but it was pretty funny. I'm not a tag-a-long sibling fan. She's mooching off of Jessica's fame...or whatever you want to call it.

Well, with Milli, the thing is they were totally faking their singing, so that's different. Unfortunately, it's pretty obvious that most singers like Britney and Ashlee use overdubs in the background to cover their voices, but they're still singing, so technically in their heads, they're not lipsyncing. But, we all know differently...

Was just watching about this on MSN, she says that she's never lip-synced any performance before even though almost all the other artists do that. Both parts of that statement are BS I'm pretty certain.
