So I've been in love with this song the past couple of weeks and i was thinking that even though it isn't my favorite song of all time, i think it might be the best lyrics written. I like the fact that you can understand what the song is about but the lyrics are kinda cool and mysterious. Specifically the part i highlighted. What do you think of the song and lyrics??

Ya fleetwood mac has some good songs, but there best song is an acoustic song off "Rumors" that the guitarist sings. Its incredible guitar work.

I've gotta agree on the Pumpkins version... it is a great cover, and i'm usually not a fan of covers, especially covers of songs that i already love. Believe it or not, I even think the Dixie Chicks do a good job covering it as well.

The Dixie chicks version was okay (nice harmonizing) but it paled in comparison to the greatness of Stevie Nicks (she is a goddess). I remember when the Smashing Pumpkins version came out I really liked it because I've always liked the Fleetwood Mac version and none of my friends liked it! They were like Fleetwood who?

 

As for the above quote. Is the song you're talking about called "Never Going Back Again"? I agree about the guitar work. Lindsay Buckingham is the greatest guitarist ever (in my opinion)

Love the Lyrics, but the Smashing Pumpkins version is much better IMO. Love how billy plays with his acoustic guitar while he sings. You should download a live show playing Landslide =)
