At least his voice doesn't sound fake like britney spears. I dont even think thats her own voice during her live concerts!

i haven't seen him live BUT i've already heard around 10 concerts on mp3s and i don't even understand how you can say that... his voice is SIMPLY great, real and deep... and it doesnt sound fake as many others who make a loooot of money for cheating fans!!!

that's exactly what i like: that i havent heard anyone who sounds like Matt... his voice is unique and I've heard a lot of american, spanish, british alternative music and i havent found any artists whose voice sounds similar to Matt's

something i really like about Matt ishis voice. he's not like other sellouts who went with voice mods... he just stays real. even in concert. he's awesome live because of it. haha when i saw him.. he took a minute to strat Alert Status Red.. it was wierd ;) like he didn't get the first note. the way that i play it, the first note is an open E (but it's tuend down a half step )

he does sound goaty.. but its not a bad thing

 

layne staley & stevie nicks have that goaty thing going on too, but they dont sound like matt

err I don't hear the elvis/cowboy thing.

 

Although he does randomly use countryish lingo with his "aint's" and what not.

I ...aquired... a song which was labelled matt good, but wasn't Parts of the voice were similar...

 

7 Mary 3 - Lucky is what it turned out to be after a brief lyric search.
