Count the days all silent, pinned and roped

Well there's dynamite in that tunnel for the matchbox in your head

You know, curious canaries suffer no fools in their stead

F F

       Bb Gm F F

Bitter tried you bleed, a bear that's treed oh no

          Gm Bb F F
Where not everything comes forgettable oh no

// guitar solo goes over this :P
Eb Bb F F x2

Eb Bb

F
This is the time I've waited for you

Eb
Bordered a line I can't ignore

Bb
Taken a life I've waited to come again

// more guitar solo over this
F Eb Bb x3

// listen for the piano in this part
F Bb F C
It's the only way that I talk

           Bb Gm Bb
And you've always known that it was

F Bb F C
It's the only way I can tell you

       Bb Gm Bb
Like letters in wartime do

       Bb Gm Bb

F F

     Bb Gm F F
Been lost at sea for years deceived oh no

Bb Gm F F
Chased by sets of French Corvettes oh no

          Gm Bb F F
Where not everything comes forgettable

// more solo over this too
F Eb Bb x3

I submitted this to www.ultimate-guitar.com so there should be a version up there soon. If there are any mistakes let me know!

Also, I might work out the solo bits later when I have time.

edit: hmm actually i just noticed a mistake, but now i can't edit the original post, the last lines should be

          Gm Bb
Where not everything comes forgettable

// more solo over this too
F Eb Bb x3

I'll change this in the ultimate-guitar.com version when it goes up.

I probably haven't commented on this forum in 10 years, but I wanted to thank you for this. I always appreciate it when people put in time to do this sort of thing.

Any chance you wanna do that for Moment too? I'm good to learn stuff once I can see it, but generally don't have a great ear to figure stuff out for myself. My "Kid Down the Well" turned out decent, though I don't know if it's actually correct. Sounds good though.

I might give Moment a try although my ear isn't that great either, in fact for Letters in Wartime I couldn't quite make out one of the chords and had to watch a video of him performing it on youtube to figure it out, haha.
