Anyone else into Destroyer( Dan Bejar of the New Pornographers)?

 

Great solo artisit with deep lyrics like MG. Destroyer's Rubies is one of the best albums I've ever heard.

 

Anyway people should check him out! Start with Destroyer's Rubies, Streethawk: A seduction, and Trouble in Dreams.

sometimes i have a hard time telling the difference between him and spencer krug. that makes a band that features the two of them seem a bit redundant. bejar doesn't strike me as a good songwriter in any case, but i really haven't heard much outside of SL, NP or the singles from his solo work.

I find Destroyer is hit or miss. I personally love his song writing and his music, but I understand when other people don't. I really recommend people check him out
