This only affects Pre-Paid phones...aka pay as you go...which I'm on. Currently I have free texting, now they want to charge 15cents for every incoming call. This can only logically flow into phone plans as well but we'll see how this goes.

 

Bell customers have until Aug 8th, Telus customers have until Aug 24th.

Yeah, it shouldn't but I've been jerked around by these people so much in the past that it really wouldn't surprise me.

So now I have to figure out if I want to keep my cell phone, the pay as you go Solo Mobile, or if I want to get another one or I may decide not to have a cell phone at all and say fuck it.

If you have unlimited texting bundles, at least with Telus, there is no charge for incoming.
