What do you guys think of them? Really good pop-punk band in my opinion. ...is a real boy is one of my current favorite albums!

Their songs are catchy, but that's about it. ...Is A Real Boy had some good times on it though - specifically "Yellow Cat (Slash) Red Cat."

 

I think I listened to the newest album once when it leaked and that was it.

'...is a real boy' is one of my all time fav albums. Its got some amazing songs and a great lyrical style. The new one's decent but doesn't quite stand up to it.

 

I think Max is collaborating with the lead singer of Saves The Day right now for a new project... Should be interesting.

It is a good movie. But seeing as how we are on the music board it's obviously going to be about the band.

 

I just downloaded In Defense of the Genre...and although there is a lot of material on that release, is a real boy is much better.

 

How was their first album if anyone knows?

Baseball? Was rather lame imo. I prefer the Menorah/Majora EP with "A Walk Through Hell" on it.

I like both In Defense... and ...Is\Was A Real Boy, they were both great releases, and I do like some of the earlier stuff as well. But if I had to pick a favorite Say Anything moment, it has to be in the Wow, I Can Be Sexual Too video when Max is parodying Justin Timberlake in the chair in front of the LED type displays.
