I recorded my cover of Prime Time Deliverance on the piano today. It still needs some editing. I won't get to finish it til maybe Friday, but I'll upload it when it's done and see what you guys think.

 

Shit, this was the first thing I've recorded since December.

Okay, I'm finally done. I decided to pick one of my favourite songs from my favourite album; 'A Boy and His Machine Gun'. I changed it a bit, made it my own, some might say, ruined it, but I'm pretty happy with it for the most part.

I just got back from playing at open mic. Tonight Growlers of Gaithersburg, MD was given a version of Weapon that I arranged this afternoon. It felt so good to play that in a way I was comfortable with, and I didn't even have to dumb it down.

 

I'll try to record it this week for everyone if interested.

All these covers are really making me want to try one. If I could find the time I would. Maybe I will.

Thanks for the kind words guys...

 

After listening to as many of these covers that I can get ahold of, this is a pretty solid sounding tribute album thus far. Sounds good.
