Has House of Smoke And Mirrors been played? I thought someone said it was played at an acoustic show.

I've seen House of Smoke and Mirrors live in Hamilton.

 

I'm still fairly certain Man of Action has never been done live before. One of my favourite songs, still waiting to hear it.

since i always used to seem to pick up the chixz at mg shows, i usually reference the show to the girl. that one was a curly haired sfu student who lived in capitol hill area of burnaby and kept stepping on broken glass. her friend was a total bitch.

what year are you thinking it was? would love to hear a recording of it though full band. Probably my favourite track on the Audio of Being and think it would be mega played at these upcoming full band shows.

I'm pretty sure we never played Everyname is my name live.

That would've been really weird given that it's a particular song to start with...but it would have a weird vibe because it's not really a "live" kind of song...it sounds more like an audio book.

 

And although I don't have any proof, I'm fairly sure that Man of Action has never been played...people have been complaining about this (and they're right, it's too awesome to be left on a CD)

 

And House of Smoke and Mirrors has been played a lot live. Whether with a band or not!

Does anyone have that live version of Workers? I super curious of hearing it live!

 

Edit: I searched for Man of action on google on mattgood.imgarbage.com and it never turned up in the tour section. Unless it was played in 2005/2006/2007/2008

I'm still more thinking in the direction that it hasn't been played at all than it has. These folks seem to fully believe it has though, so i'm not sure what's going on.

 

So many people have been complaining for years now though about it, like he said. I've never seen someone come on and say they heard it.

 

Oh well, maybe Matt would be able to lend a hand on this subject.

I'm positve Man of Action have never been played live. And as for the in 05'06 era that you are talking about would of been the the In a Coma Tour and the acoustic tour and I am pretty damn sure he didn't play it on either of those.

it was whenever he played those four shows in a row at the commodore and it was before he ever toured solo acoustic.

He played a bunch of shows in 2002 in Vancouver....December I think. Perhaps that is what you're thinking of.

I totally agree, while I don't think he is a liar I believe he is mistaken.

 

 

Edit: And if he is lying then he greatly misjudged how hardcore some of Matt's fanbase is around here.
