Wost First Date Movie?

what is it? it can be a true story, or a movie you can imagine would be a bad first date movie.

 

 

mine is a tie between Brokeback Mountain (a recommendation by the professor that set me up with the girl I was on a date with) and The Rules Of Attraction. Fantastic movie, but when it starts with a rape scene, kind of puts a downer on any hopes of a second date.

I never understood why two people who are just starting to date would want to watch a movie together in the first place. There's no time for communication in my opinion?

 

Anyway for the topic at hand... probably 21 Grams. Depressing.

I agree with Beth. Going to see a movie is the kind of first date for wusses who are afraid to make necessary conversation. Lame.

There're so many movies that would be bad. Anything with rapes, murders and such. Se7en for sure.

You should ask supercanuk about this one, I recall it being some terrible movie...not that it was a problem in the end.

Hoffa totally blew and that was one of my "first date" movies in High School. What a bunch of crap that movie was.

i've never really been on a real "date".

well that's not true, me and owen's first date was a movie and dinner.

we watched elizabethtown. it was good times.

It's not THAT bad of an idea, for one thing, a movie gives you something to talk about when it's over. Probably makes things a little easier if you're starting from nothing, like if you barely know the person or something. Besides, it's not like people go on dates when they just see a movie and immediately go their separate ways and do nothing else afterwards.

I once took a girl to see "Leaving Las vegas" on our first date..Not exactly the smartest of choices, especially consiering the subject matter and Elisabeth Shue's language in it

Elisabeth Shue is one of the hottest women ever. She's what my friend calls "deceptively hot"...you dont realize how hot she is. She gets better with age

I haven't seen her in a while but she was definitely hot in that movie and besides, I think it's a good movie.
