FIVE GIGS IN TWO DAYS!? Good lord, VGPub went through that much bandwidth during E3. I think I'll make some MG vid DVDs when I get a DVD recorder. I wish he'd released some other vids on his site though, it'd be nice to see the full versions of the vids that are just available via file sharing programs.
The music and lyrics for "a Long Way Down" certainly rule more than most music out there, and it's one of my most listened to songs off of the album, yet not one of my overall faves.
Awesome. I'll be doing a bulk MGB buy of sorts when I buy Raygun, LOTGTA, and Underdogs in one shot. That's assuming it's humanly possible right now, but I hope and pray it still is.
"Sort of a Protest Song" - Mainly due to it always reminded me of the day I nearly lost my sight. Although AoB is an uplifting record for me since I used it to calm me down throughout that day.
I enjoyed WLRRR quite a bit, and still do. Was it as deep as Avalanche? No. Was it a good album? Sure. It's definitely something I can use to get folks into his music, as it's an easier record to just rock out to than anything else he's put out.
I have a black LE cover with a grey CD cover on the inside, with the lyrics book. The lyrical booklet is awesome. I also have a while non-LE, which was my first copy of the album.
I'm in the same boat, with probably gigs of MG stuff to share. Edit - yay, this is working, barring not being able to figure out how to open two slots to join.
