This week on Arrested Development: The Immaculate Election When Ann 2.0 convinces George Michael to run for student body president, Michael gets involved and things take a turn for the worse. Michael asks G.O.B. to help remedy the situation, but instead, G.O.B. shoots an offensive campaign video that makes all the students revolt against George Michael. Meanwhile, Buster has an affair with Lupe and Tobias moves out... sort of.

Last week, according to the Hollywood Reporter, the studio was said to be in talks with Quentin Tarantino to write and direct The Ultimate Jason Voorhees Movie, which would mark the 12th installment of the Friday the 13th franchise, as well as the director's first job for a studio other than Miramax. But the report was premature, Tarantino said over the weekend. The Kill Bill filmmaker was in London to accept the Icon of the Decade award from Empire, the British movie magazine, and he told Empire that, while New Line had spoken to him about a Jason movie, he was not planning to make one. ''Whats happening with Friday The 13th? Nothing at all! Its a complete lie,'' he told Empire, whose awards were chosen by a poll of 12,000 readers. ''I like Jason and everything, but Ive no intention of directing a movie! New Line talked to me about it, but it was a complete fabrication, that article. I would love to do a horror film. Im just saying its not going to be Friday the 13th.'' Tarantino said his next project would probably be his long-gestating World War II drama Inglorious Bastards, though he said he had yet to compile the scenes he's written into a shooting script. ''I hope to give you at least 15 more years of movies,'' said the 41-year-old, who added that he would then quit filmmaking and Hollywood altogether. ''I'm not going to be this old guy that keeps cranking them out. My plan is to have a theater by that time in some small town and I will be the manager -- this crazy old movie guy,'' the former video store clerk said. ''I've made enough money that nobody even needs to show up at the theater. It's just having something to do.''

Episode: Motherboy XXX airs Sunday March 13.05 When Lucille abducts George Michael to take Buster’s place at the annual mother-son dance, Michael and Buster try to save him and end up in a compromising position. Meanwhile, Tobias gets a role in which he must act like George, Sr., which makes him more attractive to Lindsay.

Dave Genn has been on-and-off 'silent' member of 54-40 for the last few years, I hope he'll get a chance to contribute and write the next "load me up".

I saw Blink play at Edgefest in Edmonton a number of summers ago (/w Sum 41, AFI, Jimmy Eat World and countless others). From what I remembered they put on a pretty decent set. But their last 3 records have been pretty lame.

I hope they keep the tuition freeze here in MB. The NDP are in office so I hope they can get it done.

Last night block of two shows was hilarious. Maggie Lizer (Elaine from Seinfeld) was a guest on both shows (with the premise that she's preggers). Buster lost his hand after Gob's blood hungry seal bit it off in the ocean. I won't go too much into detail for those who havent seen it. But I'd rate these two episodes as the best of the season (thus far).

It's from a movie "They Live", I might have to rent this or buy it next time I lookin in the $.99 bin. go to: Mr.Twig.net for south park goodness. Ohh yeah, Season 9 begins March 9 on Comey Central (but downloadable for those canadian viewers).

I hope they go onto a season 7 or 8 even if that means that James Gandolfini isn't starring (i.e. killed off) It would be nice to see Christopher take over the family business.
