I dont buy into the whole "women are being objectified!" bullshit. Not because we should be free to strip if we want or suck dick for a living, but because if I did I would agree to the fact that women are objects. Whoa, lose you there for a minute? To objectify someone is to give them an inanimate label - basically to de-humanize and de personalize them. For me to say that women are being "objectified" I would have to acknowledge the fact that women are indeed objects. If you believe that objectification exists, you make women out to look like the weaker sex since they possess the capability to be nothing more than pretty mantle peices, right? Since I don't believe women are capable of being objects I therefore don't believe that they can be objectified. The crazy group of feminists that are trying to defend the "strength of women everywhere" are basically damaging their own argument by this objectification rationale. If they can accept the fact that women are capable of being objects they've just proved that we are the weaker sex. And thats just something I can't buy into (please god tell me that this all makes sense. i tried to explain myself the best i could with a size 12 font and a computer instead of a real life discussion)

For those of you who don't know, my dad plays in his own band called Fraankenrawk (he's lead singer and guitar) and he is playing on Feb. 19th 9:00 at Mavericks on bank street. Im not sure whether or not you have to be 19+ to get in - but its $15 at the door or $12 in advance (there's other bands there as well, I actually think its a battle of the bands or something) Anyways, if you have a minute and want to listen to 3 demo's of his, you can find them here Pure Volume - Fraankenrawk

Pff, are you kididng me? That was the greatest thing I have heard in a long time. "And the monkey presses the button" <--- that still makes me break out into hysterics -
I misread your post, I wasnt aware that you were a teacher I assumed you were calling all the people on here "high school kids" I apologize.
-
For one, not all the indiviuals on here are still in high school my friend, myself included. The reason why the mblog wasn't made public was because of the few select assholes who decided to ruin it. As such, he made it private and requested for those who knew about the address to keep it private. I would say that was a fairly reasonable request. It only takes one moron to spoil it for everyone. Although your intentions for the blog may be good, you can't blame the folks on here for not antying up the information as theyve been asked to keep it quiet. Its not fair of you to vent your frusterations on them for doing what matt requested. If you really respected the man, you would respect his request as well.

maybe we should all just leave the guy alone and if he wishes to have you view and post on his blog he'll tell you himself where it is (although it has now been posted a million times so its not big secret)

1)Hello Time Bomb Now in now paticular order... Suburbia Prime Time Deliverance Apparitions Weapon Fated (I put in an extra....)

I bought my boyfriend at the time Big Shiny Tunes 4 for Christmas when I found out he cheated on me so I kept it instead of returning it. That CD had "Hello Time Bomb" on it which made me practically wet myself so I ran out and bought BM. I fell in love with the CD and proceeded to go off and purchase Underdogs (my personal favorite), Raygun and LOTGA. Since then I've been hooked.

What brand of shampoo does he use? Boxers or briefs? Does Matt sleep in the nude? Is he more of a Surf or Turf guy? "Harmless" questions can often be intrusive. I understand that yes, Matt is a celebrity and as such, he should realize that people are going to want to know more about him. However maybe there are things he doesn't want the general public to know about. if he did, he'd volunteer the information. just because he is a celebrity it doesn't mean that he owes it to his fans to dish out an A and E behind the scenes view of his life. Im not picking on dan or anyone else, I just think that if the guy wants everyone to know all this information he can post it himself instead of everyone else doing it for him.

Breathes, eats, sleeps, has sex, goes to the washroom... No offence, but this has to be the stupidest thread I have seen on this board yet. What do you mean "what does he do outside of singing?" WHO CARES. He does average everyday things - the same things performed by everyday people. He probably watches movies like the rest of us, goes on the computer like the rest of us, eats dinner like the rest of us... its not exactly hard to figure out. The fact that you have to dissect his everday life is disgusting. Enjoy his music and let the man be. If he want's you to know what he does 24/7 he can post it himself. There's a fine line between curiosity and obsession and this thread just crossed it.

I want a radio station that plays Slipknot ;) radio stations play Slipknot. I know this because I heard their most recent song, "Vermillion II" played on a station in florida
