organized religion is the biggest act of pretentiousness that i know of; pretending to know how the world was created! it's just as pretentious and silly to think that humans have a "soul" and every other living organism doesn't. So if you must be naive you might aswell baptize the dog aswell.

you're right. They must have been "the others". that's not ambiguous at all.

They could have explained what those black ghostly things were, what was inside the hatch, or who those men were on the boat. it's alright to leave some things a mystery, but it's annoying when they just keep stringing you along .

It would have been better if they answered some things and left other things unanswered. there's only so much people can take before they lose interest. answering nothing is just irritating. im not watching it anymore

the characters are interesting. although, it's annoying like x-files. each episode creates more questions and nothing ever gets answered.

I did a project on this in school. We decided that a fetus can not be considered a person until it has a rational faculty. Until it can think, speak, act, it's no more alive than a tree.You'd be preventing a potential person from developing. Therefore, killing a fetus would be no different than leaving sperm cells out to dry. That is a rational argument. The irrational argument stems from, guess where? Religion. surprise. It's against their "morals". This is a very serious topic. Decisions should not be based on mysticism, or mere "feelings". If someone is considering abortion there is probably a good reason why they should not have a baby. If you are so worried about the morality of having an abortion, consider the life of the baby after it's developed, not before.Can you afford it? Will it have a good upbringing? base your decision on that.

i just found it interesting... he talks about religious figures in a lot of his songs. sometimes he's putting them down like "you pray for the sheep" but at other times... he describes them as a way of life. i was curious as to what others thought. so fuck you if it really effects your personal life that greatly. does it matter? who says shit like that? seriously, if its that big of a problem, dont join a board. the point was to ask a board full of fans. you're an idiot. that about covers it. It was a reasonable question to ask. There are more than one references to God in his lyrics. You know, I've always thought that religious belief was self made deception to cure feelings of fear and insecurity. That's my belief. I wonder what Matt thinks. who knows?
