Supposidely Matt fell into a major depression after his band broke up - not sure why, but its probably why avalanche was so good.

He did it at the Vancouver show - an awesome way to start off the concert, in my opinion....it was followed by 21st century living.

Even if Matt Good is done touring for the album, I would still like him to return to Vancouver just for some small shows to please the audience.

I have three possible depressing Matt Good songs.....that are very depressing....."Apparations", "Running For Home", and "Sort of A Protest Song"...not to mention "In A World Called Catastrophe" because it was written about the breakup of his band.

My favourite has got to be "Put Out Your Lights", really kicks the CD off.

lazyboy, if its the band i am thinking about - is a very average band. I saw them at the vogue theater and they really blew it.

I recently saw Switchfoot live in Vancouver. The band "Acceptance" opened for them, and it was very very cool. I think Switchfoot may be one of the best bands live. Their energy is amazing.

Hey, just wanted to know if there was any truth to the recent rumors that Matt Good is gunna try to do a country album to expand his reach as an artist....Maybe I'm the only one who has heard this...

Between Matthew Good or Matthew Good Band - that's a tough decision. The thing I liked about Matthew Good Band was the kickass bass riffs aswell as a heavy focus on drums. However, with Matthew Good it seems a lot more melodic (at least in Avalanche)....so I'm gunna have to say Matthew Good
