39 is way too young for anyone to die. Period. And your whole "I'm surprised I made it to 23" bullshit. Is this because you have some debilitating disease or medical condition to overcome or is it your emo, whinny bullhit about your life and the fact that you haven't killed yourself yet? I ask out of genuine curiosity. fuck you fuck you fuck you fuck you you will never fucking know me and the fucking hell i have honestly been through in my whole fucking life and how close i have been to honest to fucking god death and leaving this fucking world. and this wasn't because of, as you say, some whiny fucking emo bullshit. we post on a fucking message board. i have never honestly been so insulted in my fucking life. fuck you.

Shade's Album Upload Topic

Pluto - Shake Hands With The Future alright, maybe not as significant as The Allman Brothers Band or as critically acclaimed as the other albums posted on here, but Pluto remains, in my opinion, as one of the most criminally forgotten great Canadian acts of the past 20 years. ...and this, their last album, is an example of what great west coast pop/rock was in the 90's. -
Soundtrack To You Life
sodamntired replied to Hyphnip's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
that was so much fun, one more time If your life were a movie, what would the soundtrack be? So, here's how it works: 1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc) 2. Put it on shuffle 3. Press play 4. For every question, type the song that plays 5. When you go to a new question, press the next button 6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool... [OPENING CREDITS]: Travis - Sing [WAKING UP]: Public Enemy = Fight The Power [FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL]: Matthew Good Band - Pony Boy [FALLING IN LOVE]: Randy Edelman - Secret and Elite [FIGHT SONG]: Public Enemy - Bring The Noise [bREAKING UP]: Pluto - Uncola [PROM]: Dandy Warhols - The Gospel [LIFE]: Public Enemy - Shut Em Down [MENTAL BREAKDOWN]: Harvey Danger - Elvis, I don't Love yOu Anymore [DRIVING]: Watchmen - Cracked [FLASHBACK]: Damien Rice - Older Chests [WEDDING]: The (International) Noise Conspiracy - The Way I Feel About You (i love this one!) [bIRTH OF CHILD]: Stabbing Westward + Wink - Torn Apart [FINAL BATTLE]: Matthew Good - Little Terror [DEATH SCENE]: U2 - I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For [FUNERAL SONG]: Radiohead - Electioneering [END CREDITS]: Richard Cheese - Smack My Bitch Up (love it) -

yeah, that's kind of why i had the "let's take a moment to remember her soul and her contributions to society....okay, that should do it. " part of my first post. what the hell did she contribute to society? did she make any one have a better life? was she better for all of us? not so much.
-
Technically, the thread is about the undue attention given to her death by the media. Two different things. yeah, that's why i started it why do you care how much media attention she gets? is it affecting your life? are you finding it hard to hit on people that don't want you hitting on them because everywhere you look you see anna nicole's face? why do we post on the matthew good board about his music? is he a close friend? do we talk to him personally every day? i started this thread for some chuckles and comments. thats it.

thats what most people i worked with said. and maybe it was too early to make a joke, but I said, "i bet she OD'd on Trimspa...."

okay, so whenever someone dies and gets as much news attention as Anna has (will) my response is a usual "ahh, that really sucks" or "that bums me out" aka Johnny Cash or John Ritter (both on the same day) but when I heard she died, my first thought was "she was still alive?"

your CO-WORKER is a moron. its that simple.

wow. wow wow wow. Sam Roberts is amazing. but arguing with those who don't like a certain band or artist is pointless. i've learned this from many arguments over Radiohead...and how they're not the be all and end all of what 'amazing music' is. arguing music is kind of like arguing whose sip of Coke, or breath of air, was better.
