  1. I find that I have different emotions with Matt's voice depending on the era. I've started listening to Matt with Beautiful Midnight, which was the only album he released in the US at the time. I forget what song was a single here. I am thinking it was "Future was X-Rated" but anyway, I find his voice was in a way more powerful back then. He could hit those high/mid range notes and seem to just keep them going. I loved that. The newer stuff, or I should say, solo stuff, seemed more laid back, and not as aggressive. At the time I didn't like it as much, but as I grew older and life started happening to me more and more, I'd re-listen to the solo stuff and appreciate it more. Much like Matt's music and life were changing, so was mine and it seemed to just go together. I love the way he sounds now, and I love the song writer he has become (although I've always loved his song writing). So I agree, and I've enjoy hearing Matt evolve over the years and even though he just released a new album, I already can't wait for a new one.
  2. Also love the song! I was just listening to it in the car before I came home. At first I was "meh" about it but man has it grown on me. Just listening to the lyrics almost empowers me somehow. I dunno, just a great track. Can't get enough!
  3. Already pre-ordered Beautiful Midnight! Can't wait to frame it!
  4. Too many! But here are the top 3. Wii U: Yoshi's Woolly World- Great platformer, and tons of personality. I didn't think I would like the yarn look but it's grown on me. PS4: The Witcher 3- I've played all the previous games and read the books. This game does any amazing job of telling a story and bridging that gap between book and game. Can't get enough of the characters and doing quests actually means something! Meaning you don't do some little fetch quest just to level up. Each quest is like a little (or big) story. PC: Fallout: New Vegas- I bought this so long ago and I figured I should finish it. Love the series and have Fallout 4, but I made a promise to myself to finish New Vegas before starting another Fallout.
  5. Should just make a old school collection. 8-track, cassette, and vinyl in one package! But seriously, thanks for the awesome new album. I've been enjoying and it was a welcome surprise last year. My only hope for the future is for you to do one show in Las Vegas! I'd be there day one for tickets.
  6. For a long time my favorite was Suburbia and still holds a top 5 spot with me. But right now I've been in an "Anti-Pop" mood. And from the new album, I've loved "Girls in Black."
  7. I live in Las Vegas, and we have a place called Sin City Brewery. The beer is pretty damn good! My favorite from there is the SIn City Lager. It has a nice full body and goes down easy.
