I was going for her as well. Damn Russel and his charming wit and good looks... and money... and fame... I never really had a chance. ;) -

the singles are the best songs. everything else is pretty "meh" for me. saw them open up for STP as well, turned me off them. sounded terrible. -
those are correct. and yes, what are you hearing?

Arcade Fire - The Suburbs

I love both Funeral and Neon Bible, both are very strong albums. They are easily one of the best bands of the last 10+ years. The Suburbs could be the best piece of music they've created thus far. Could quite possibly be the best Canadian band making music right now. -
...not that great. still a good listen! thanks!

how's the sound quality?

yeah, i believe that's just Promo Poster, would be pretty hard to find now.

Just got back from Muskoka, was at the show in Bala. Awesome night, can't really remember the setlist. Songs that were played: On Nights Like Tonight Avalanche Born Losers Volcanoes Great Whales of the Sea Fought To Fight It A Silent Army in the Trees Hello Time Bomb Apparations Load Me Up / Love Will Tear Us Apart Weapon Encore: Giant Champions of Nothing I remember those songs, the order is wrong for sure, besides the first two songs and the encore. Matt didn't talk much at all, just something about it being weird that the stage is like 6 feet off the ground.

I didn't get to see them but I heard a lot about them when I was down there. the bands I saw were... (for some amount of time or another) Tokyo Police Club Tenacious D The Bridge the Flaming Lips doing Dark Side of the Moon Kings of Leon Jay Z The Avett Brothers Zach Brown Band John Fogerty Dave Matthews Band Les Claypool Galactic LCD Soundsystem Damien Marley and Nas Weezer Stevie Wonder John Butler Trio the highlights: - Flaming Lips did their own stuff for about 45 mintues... then came back on to do Darkside. It was incredible, one of the best things i've ever seen musically and visually. The perfect set for Mushrooms. - John Fogerty was too good. Lots of CCR material which I was pretty happy to hear. Nobody can sing like him and he can still belt out the tunes these days. - Galactic was awesome. If you haven't heard of them, it's just dirty funk music. Danced my ass off for them (rigth after the Flaming Lips) - The Bridge, if you haven't heard of them either, check it out. You won't be upset. - And of course, Stevie Wonder was awesome. Never thought I'd see him ever and he did not dissapoint one bit. -

just got back. was unreal. but so fucking hot. dry, dry heat. it's impossible to sleep past 8:30am because of it. -
Heading to the festival tomorrow. Should be an awesome time. Has anyone else ever been on here?

They got better with age. Any fans of this great, great band? Favourite albums? I've been listening to 'Rather Ripped' a lot lately but am a big fan of 'Washing Machine' and 'Goo'.

yep. shitty news but he's been fighting for a while, knew it was coming. RIP Dio. -
watched the Godfather part 1 yesterday and Patch Adams. Both movies are pretty great. Was always a fan of Godfather II more than the first though.

ACC? Ricoh? both would sell tons. However, I'd like to see them play Massey Hall. -
