He also skipped those lines at the show I went to. Instead there was sort of a breakdown at that part of the song.
Besides... I think "George is teaching the kids to fight" is the worst line Matt has written on any of the last four albums.
1. Giant
2. Hello Time Bomb
3. Tripoli
4. Advertising On Police Cars
5. Load Me Up
6. 21st Century Living
7. While We Were Hunting Rabbits
8. Under The Influence
9. The Rat Who Would Be King
10. Anti-Pop
11. The Workers Sing A Song Of Mass Production
12. The Future Is X-Rated
13. Born To Kill
14. Running For Home
At the last concert, I thought Rich was playing the bass intro to Flashdance II.
And everytime Matt broke into the Big City Life chorus, I thought it was the Flashdance II chorus.
So has Matt officially said that "Big City Life" was derived from "Flashdance II"... cuz boy... are those songs similar!
Sorry if I missed this thread earlier.
I think Indestructible's horrible video is a pretty good representation of the song.
I also think Hello Time Bomb captures itself well.
In A World Called Catastrophe would be my third choice.
