Do all the songs in BM make you think that? The only song i can think of that might do that is "the future is x-rated" Other than that i thought BM was pretty decent/clean disc . Never heard someone say that before.

Just finished watching "Schindler's list" Geeze, this movie will really open your eyes to the horrifying events during the holocaust. The movie is quite graphically violent, showing how heartless some German soldiers were towards the Jewish prisoners. The movie is shown in black and white (gives a very appropriate mood) yet some screen shots have a bit of colour to draw attention to one object (quite clever). If you like a movie with a bit of history, some violent suspense, etc. you will enjoy this movie. Enjoy.

So matt, is the future x-rated? In some cases yes, for your case i hope not :angry: I can see your career to continue with the mellow / easy-going rhythm and the use of different instruments in songs will continue (ex. Symphony) Your music will gear towards the lives of the unfortunate, in some cases about your thoughts of war, etc. To tell the truth.. it sounds like what your doing right now.... im gonna let someone else predict your career ;) What i do know is that you have worked hard for your career. BUT WAIT! What is this so called show? "AMERICAN IDOL"? How does this work? I mean... some average people with little or no singing experience go in front of some judges and sing? Sure some of them are pretty good singers. The winner gets some dealio, they have a career now ... blah blah blah Where is all of the hard work when compared to matt? do they deserve the same or better outcome? NO! i dont think so. What really makes me mad is this WILLIAM HUNG dude. Good laughs from his horrible singing, but this publicity gave him a record deal :angry: wth is with that? Is this the future of singing careers? I SURE THE HELL hope not. I also hope that these computer generated sounds from Britney Spears and others disappear. What happened to the natural voice for singing? I just hope that the future of music does not stray to far away from what matt has done... i applaude his efforts and hope to see him succeed in the future.

Hey, when is matt coming to town? Does anyone know his schedual for concerts (where he is playing? what day? etc.) It sure would be nice to know ;) Sure he lives in Coquitlam, but we hardly ever get to see him in the Lower Mainland.

I think that is why i like his new music... kind of mellow. The use of the VSO is indeed cool, not too many musicians use that scheme. When i want to get hyped up, for sure i listen to MGB. But sometimes you dont wanna listen to the hard music... and then matt's new songs will chill you out.

Gone are the days of Matthew Good Band [Great days they were]. But the end of those days were inevitable. Matt's music has gone to a different level. This new level is not necessarily better or worse, just different. His music has transformed into something that stands out when compared to his older music. Personally, my favourite song "Load Me Up" is found when the band was together, but my least favourite songs of his are also found in the old albums. But overall, i think his new music is consistently "GOOD". I look forward to his future and admire his past. I would like to hear some of your comments ;)
