Oooh, I like that. But my feeling about that song is that it isn't about corruption, it's about commercialism. I'd like a video for 21st century living, but without any censoring. This year in Media class I'm thinking of making a video from 'Every name is my name'.

I ahven't heard anything, but I am a fan of ANDY Warhol, so they can't be too bad.

Hmmm I don't know. He didn't really look like he wanted to come on for the encore, and there were some really rowdy drunk guys, and no one in the crowd got his jokes...but nothing really maddening, as far as I can see.

I hope it's not too happy, but still satisfyingly concluded. Definately the Quagmire Triplets and the Baudelaires will live together ever after, but hopefully not too happily.

I'd definately like to see that. It certainly won't come to Owen Sound, but I'll get it on DVD. Edit: Has anyone seen 'Max'? That is a stunning movie, I heartily recommend it. It stars John Cusack as a veteran of the great war, who was an artist, but after having his armamputated is now an art dealer. It shows the beginning of Private Adolf Hitler's political career, and his attempt at being an artist. When he fails to become a successful artist, he turns to politics.

In fact, I heard an interview with the (real) author a few years ago on CBC, and he said that Lemony Snicket was the name of a drink he and his friends had inented, that was something like the juice of 20 lemons, mixed with vodka.

Yes he is, he's Count Olaf in the movie coming out this christmas. Unless I am very much mistaken, Beatrice is just a made up character to add another level to the book. Just like the author himself's story. (Pssssst! Lemony Snicket is a Pseudonym!)

The coolest thing I wish I'd gotten a good picture of was the people holding the lgihters up in Aparitions. From where I was, it was as if it were staged to perfectly make the picture, but I don't think mine turned out.

Duh! Is there any other way?

I got there at 7, and was in the first 30 people or so in line...I was about 5 rows back, just to the left of centre. I have long dark hair, and a fedora. I took a lot of pictures...filled up my digital camera. I'll post them in the next couple days.

And songs...mostly WLRRR, starting with Put out your lights...also had Hello Time Bomb, Load me up...Caroline, which I'd never heard before...Weapon...and ended with acoustic Apparitions...before we broguht him back with 5 minutes of solid clapping and whistling for 3 more songs.

I read it a couple months ago. Sure it was a good book and all, but nothing really special. I can't see what people see in it that the love it so much.
