So would I, that's why I wasted money on one. I got the higher quality tv so I wanted the better movies and since I couldn't decide which would win I saved and bought both, eventually. I will admit I bought blu-ray first though. But I didn't want to have a bluray player and fifteen blu-ray disks next year and they stop making that format in favour of HD or vice versa.

Some are only released on one or the other and since I have both, I grab the better quality over the regular DVD versions when I can. They didn't have the blu-ray Rush Hour 3 where I bought those, so I didn't get that.

Per trigger pull being the key word. Usually, including in my experience, it isn't a single pull. And like I said I wasn't drunk, four drinks isn't drunk.

Given time most anything will hurt you. A taser does irreversible damage in about 60 seconds. Also I'd like to point out that it wasn't like I was turning to run I was asking what my arrest was for. After not giving me an answer a fourth time I asked him again this where he drew the gun and tased me without warning. There was no okay I' going to use this if you don't comply. It was taser drawn, officer steps back, used, me subdued. Not only did I vomit, but I couldn't stand up for fifteen minutes and I was bleeding from the fucking hooks that dug into my side from the gun. All I'm saying is the taser is abused/used more often then it isn't. DTMB, and the children that were tased all over the US (Florida and California in particular I think). And yeah there is always that very slim chance that something could go wrong with other methods as well, but it's almost asking for something to wrong when using a taser.

It is abuse and I am strongly, strongly against them. They cause nerve damage, make you loose all control of your body (I vomited), and are extremely painful and disorientating. How is that not torture? Officers are trained in unharmed take down methods and they should stick to them. And of course I'm not advocating that unarmed should be the only method, but tasers shouldn't be used at all.

Drunken disorderly (I wasn't at all disorderly, though I had been drinking and bar hopping in Charlotte) and resisting. I was resisting because I hadn't done anything. But they quickly pulled the taser gun and shocked me.

I was shocked with a taser gun, not tasered, but with a fucking taser gun. It's awful. They should be banned.
