  1. A good interview, but nothing new that a good MG fan wouldn't already know.
  2. Amazing how talk of these disgusting women seems to have hijacked the thread!
  3. Another Windsorite like myself?
  4. I agree. It seems like they try to include a little of everything so satisfy everyone, and in my opinion that is not the point of making music.
  5. I wish there were some professionally-recorded versions of MG live and acoustic on Youtube, I hate the crappy sound quality and shaky camera-holding of all the ones that are out there, even though the music is amazing.
  6. The non-screaming vocalist in Alexisonfire, Dallas Green, is actually very good. I hate Alexisonfire, but really love his solo stuff as well as the songs from his band, City and Colour. It is all acoustic. Check it out!
  7. As a guitar player I rely mainly on the internet as my source of tabs so I can learn how to play songs. While there are some good tabs out there, it seems like the vast majority are absolute crap! Here are some of my beefs with online guitar tabs: (1) Why is it so hard for the tabbers to get it right? It seems like very few tabs actually have the whole song start to finish with few or no errors. Some of the things you get don't even sound remotely close to the real thing! (2) How many times do you have to post the same tab over and over? You find a tab for a song that is nowhere close to the real thing. Luckily there are 10 other versions available. Unfortunately, all 10 versions are just a copy and pasted duplicate of the first one, posted over and over again. (3)What level of education does the average tabber have, grade 1 English? The spelling and grammar in quite a few tabs is atrocious! I mean, when you spell the band's name and the song name wrong, that is just lame. (4) It helps to know the correct tuning of a song before you tab it. So many tabs have the notes right, but the tuning wrong... this can usually be easily figured out for songs that are in Drop D, but it's a bother. Please add your own complaints or comments! I'm sure there are hundreds more out there who share the same opinion!
  8. I haven't found a way yet to get them out of my head with purely psychological methods... just putting on some music and cranking it or playing guitar is what I usually do. But, if the song is stuck in my head I probably like it so I don't really wanna get rid of it. Right now the line "I'm just a boat on the ocean/And I'm just a ship lost at sea" is playing in my head, has been for the last three days since I heard that song for the first time.
  9. Has anyone tabbed these songs out with PowerTab software? There aren't too many Matthew Good songs on Ultimate-Guitar!
