Failure ! Being murdered (always been convinced it's going to happen - too many episodes of Crimewatch as kid, me thinks) Slimy things - Snails, Slugs etc. Then there's daft things which (hopefully) won't happen, like: Being buried alive, being stabbed in the eye, teeth falling out... and so on.

What Did You Last Watch On Tv?
LonelyWreckage replied to Shiri's topic in Rentals, Television, and Readables
Aye, usually from Top of the Pops. Never get to see any of it though. The must have a shitload when you factor in all the festival footage and programmes like Jools Holland and past shows like the Whistle Test. What do we get ? TOTP2. Yayyyy lasts drag out 30-year old footage of some clown miming to a novelty song. -

...and give you AIDS. -
lol It's blatantly suicide. Beside from the above you see his email telling him he's lost his job and him closing the draw with the gun inside when the prossy arrives.

Turkey v Czech Republic match. Miles better than expected ! -
I think that's a fair point. They're not ideal, no. I've never actually bothered watching a full film on a small screen, only episodes, so you could be right. From what I have seen, which is tonnes of TV episodes, they were perfectly watchable. If there were any strain on the eyes, I didn't notice - which, you'd think I would, but again, that might be down to the length. Anyway, I'd hazard a guess that people buying films for their Ipods would be doing so for journeys, and for most people it'd come down to: do I sit here like a lemon for an hour, bored shitless, or give this new film a bash. Even if after half an hour their eyes start to hurt, they can just turn it off and go back to staring out of the window. It's just nice to have the choice.

Too right mate ! Although I've put off getting TIMTTMY for a while now, cos it seems like the start to their MOR phase. What do you make of it ? -

I thought we were talking about the paper ! ... ;)

It gives you unbelievably shit journalism, but wouldn't go so far as to say it gives you cancer...

Do one ! ;) I have no idea. I agree though - which is why I've been excited by the last few episodes, for the first time, the ending's actually in sight, however long they decide to take. To tell you the truth, I was about six episodes behind yesterday, cos I'd just lost (oh dear) interest, so to sit and watch them back-to-back and see proper storylines that gripped me was pretty exciting. "I'm ever so happy that I did, it's been jolly good."
