Ravenous itchy

Do you have Vonage? I don't know what others' experiences with it have been like, but my parents have it and I refuse to call their home phone any more. It randomly beeps extremely loud and shatters my ears, it disconnects us more than frequently, and it cuts out for a few seconds, just long enough that you don't know wtf the other person is talking about. Not all VoIP is bad (my apartment phone is on VoIP through the university, and it works fine), but I definately would never recommend Vonage.

See, that worries me. It reinforces the idea in my head that people only have kids as an extension of their own political beliefs. I got all confused the other day trying to tell someone my phone number because I have 4 of them. I decided I'd see if I am the only one having this problem. 1. apartment phone (shared with my two roommates as well) 2. desk phone at work 3. personal cell 4. work cell I spend all day on the phone with people at work, so when I was trying to give someone my personal cell number, it took me a minute to get it straight in my head which one that was.

Mmm subway. The one closest to my apartment sells 12" for the price of a 6" on Sundays and Mondays after 5. I first discovered this by ordering a sub one monday and having it come to $3.98 or something. I asked the cashier if she put it in wrong and she told me about the deal. I was quite happy.

The type of grounding guys get is different too. The longest I was ever grounded was 2 months, but the grounding was that I wasn't allowed to watch tv (slash play nintendo) or talk on msn. I have no idea what I got that for though. Me and my parents didnt always get along that well (until I moved out).

I find azureus is a bit of a memory hog. the official bittorrent client is great but it only allows one torrent at a time. Anton would tell you to use ABC as it is a pretty good client. My preference is BitComet because it is light and fast.

GuildWars is pretty cheap. The box goes for about $50, and there is no monthly fee. I haven't been gaming much lately, so that's all I've got for you.

Only one (or two?) night(s) have I had absinthe. After that I said fuck it. It tastes like mouthwash and it is not at all worth the effort.

The media is quick to list the names of people who die on the news every time it happens (sometimes for days in a row), and I think that is the public's opportunity to learn about it. These ceremonies are for the families, and the public, and the media, have to right to be there. Try to be in the shoes of those soldiers loved ones.

Ah, well I just pretty much despise my provincial government. The fucking socialists do their best to fuck students in the ass every year around this time.

1) Like I said, it is going up to $10k, not at $10k. 2) There is nothing the federal government can do to change that, and it has nothing to do with the topic of the federal budget. 3) Most sports don't cost >$500 (hockey perhaps being an exception), so it is essentially a 100% rebate. I don't see any way that this could be better (except more money if the kid is in different sports year 'round).

You could tell them to choke on a dick cause you arent paying. Then if they fire you take them to court cause I don't think they can fire you for that shit (you may want to check that first).

yea income tax on money earned under $36k gets a .5% increase, but the basic exemption will go up to $10k and they added a bunch of very practical credits and such (scholarships, etc no longer taxable, credit for 15.5% of public transit passes, credit for children's sports fees up to $500/kid, etc). The nicest thing for me will be the 1% GST cut, because with being a full time student and only working (besides under the table stuff) in the summer, I don't pay income tax anyways. The 2nd nicest thing is that the amount parents are expected to contribute calculated for student loans will be reduced effective the 07/08 school year.

probably your browser was just caching the image in which case loading a few pages would eventually get it to download the new one, or in the future you could do a force refresh (ctrl-f5 in IE, dunno others)
