Wow, this is an awesome idea...book clubs rule lol. I would love to be a part of this club, should it sucessfully start. I think we should read the book 'Clan of the Cave Bear' by Jean M. Auel. I have been meaning to get to reading it, but I've been caught up in 'The Sword of Truth'series for a while now lol. Yeah, and from reading the back, it does seem to be about racism, but it isn't anything that would offend anyone. The racism is against more evolved humans, and the racists are cave people. Since no one reading is of the latter, it should be ok I think... ;)

i suppose i havent done anything crazy to show how much of a fan i am. lol, but at school, everyone is shallow and stupid, so they like britney spears, justin timberlake, chingy, and all of that other type of music. i proudly show that i am a fan of matt good, and with my big mouth, i diss everyone elses choice of music. yeah, thats gotten my into some trouble...see, im a very opinionated girl, which is probably why i like matt good, and i'll go to any lengths to prove my points about matt good being better than and rap music out there. once, i said something to a die-hard eminem fan and he launched at me, and apparently he agrees with eminems ideas about violence, cause he physically attacked me. im not a fighting type of person, but to defend my pride and to prove my point about matt good, i kicked his arse! =)

Ok, what kind of fan would do that? Jesus, it HURTS to chip a tooth! Most likely, it wasn't on purpose. Cause who would go to a concert to smash a microphone into the musicians face? But even if it wasn't deliberate, you'd think that the fans would have a bit more common sense. So, Canuckmusicfan, don't you dare blame Matt Good for other peoples blatant stupidity. Phh..saying Matt Good isn't much of a rock star is like saying Canada isn't much of a country! Jeez..excuse him for having faith in the audience.

hey guys, do you like musical tag? it's that game where one person starts off saying any song in the whole entire world, and also the artist who made the song, and then the next person says another song/artist with one of the words from the previous song/artist. so for example, if it was "Give It Away" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, you could say "Red Hot Moon" by Rancid, cause they have the word 'red' in common. but you cant use words like the, or, of...etc. and you cant use any remakes of the same song as a response, and you cant use the same artist as a response. i think this game is quite fun if you play it right. ok, so i'll start SONG: 'It's About Time' ARTIST: Van Halen

Matt Good solo, hands down. Not to say that the MGB weren't any good, cause you gotta say, they were an awesome band. But Matt on his own I think is stronger, and yeah, the orchestra sounded amazing and gave his music a lot more depth.

Hm, that is rather interesting. And also,it has a very good message!!! Man, I wouldn't even feel SAFE in the States, just cause he's the president...scary.

I've seen this show once or twice, but I always forgot to check regular air time, so anytime I re-discovered it, it was just chance. It was quite funny though, very original.

Television is ok sometimes...but you have to watch out for all the stupid stuff that goes on air. I'll watch t.v if I am doing something absently too, it's a good way to learn to focus on two things at one time.

Is there still the age thing to go to one of Matt's concerts? I think that at one point in time it was 21+, but I'm not sure at all.

Erm..I have: underdogs beautiful midnight audio of being avalanche white light rock and roll review all of them are awesome...I wish so much that I was a fan of Matt Good sooner. Maybe I would have a more extensive collection. lol...but then I would have been the only kid in grade 2 who even listened to music...huh, that's an interesting thought.

Modest Mouse...now there's a good band. No where even NEAR the quality of Matthew Good. But hey, it's impossible to be as good as him, isn't it?

I've always been rather fond of Gwen Stafani. She is definitely genuine, and original as well. And of course, that girl has a voice. Oh, and I also like Alanis Morissette. Those ladies actually have talent. Oh, and by the way, I am a major non-fan of Avril Lavigne. In my eyes, she ranks almost as low as Britney Spears. Almost.

Yeah, the video is rather good. Although I have only seen it one time on MuchMusic. I'm not the biggest fan of MuchMusic...so it was basically luck that I happened to catch it. Almost all music on that station is shallow and pointless. It's a sad world where Matthew Good is making music that is played in the same set of songs as Hilary Duff, and other 'singers' as they call themselves. Anyways, 4th is a wonderful spot! And it's unfortunate that the Americans are still listening to Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake and such, but they are the ones missing out. Luckily, there are some very fine people from the US who know real music, and they are members here. ;)

Yikes! I didn't mean to take what Jeffrey said so personally...I get caught up in this kind of thing, where some one asks a question about something I feel strongly about, and I reply, only to have another person tell me that I am wrong when I know I am right! I also feel that the personal meaning people find to songs are important..but, some one asked, so I told them. And I still feel slightly, slightly offended towards Jeffrey's ignorance on the subject. Even when one means no offence, it can easily have that meaning. And I think it's good that different ideas are being shared. But was it neccessary to say that my meaning made little sense? I think not. And lastly, I know that the songs have different meanings for different people, but I was saying the intended meaning, which I thought was more correct that simple speculation. It's so hard to even pick out the best lyrics. Cause you know if you're listening to Matt Good, everything is gonna be amazing. But, I suppose if I had to choose, I would say... "I walk behind the crowd and pick up the garbage that was our future without memory, that made the children of the system we created and then forgave. How can you love Jove, Drusilla? and forsake Rome?" A few other people seem to like that as well... ;)

Well, Jeffrey, it's nice that you find my meaning to be untruthful. Thank you for stating that. But I know my Matt Good, and I know what Buffalo Seven means. I don't know if you are simply guessing, or where you have found your unreliable source, but I have gotten mine from listening to the world album premiere of White Light Rock and Roll Review, where Matthew Good himself explained the meanings of the songs.

yeah i know what buffalo seven is about... im new here so im happy to answer what i can for you! ;) ok..back in the days when the matthew good band were just about ready to split up, matt had a tiny, tiny, apartment. one day while he was looking through some old stuff, he came across a picture. i think it was of indians or cowboys..sorry, im not 100% on the details.anyways, it was titled 'buffalo seven'. he really liked it, so he pinned it up on his wall. it was the last thing he saw when he fell asleep. since the band was in fact preparing to separate, there was a lot of stuff going on. matt found that the only time he ever had to think about things was when he was in bed. hence the lyrics in the chorus. so, buffalo seven was simply the title of the picture he found.
