  1. What does 3.14 mean? I've seen numbers like that under a few peoples posts.
  2. Dracula: Dead and Loving It
  3. I watched American History X the other day. I thought it was a pretty good movie.
  4. Battlefield Earth: A Saga of the Year 3000 (HOLY CRAP BAD MOVIE)
  5. read that dancing invisible. Never really saw that post... It's based on a different version of X-men, it IS a different version of X-men, a version that the writers and directors are creating. My point is they should try sticking to the real storyline of X-Men as much as they can, and that they may be changing things a little too much.
  6. Though debatable, being a superhero doesn't necessarily mean you have to have powers. All that's needed is abilities greater than that of a regular human being, which doesn't necessarily mean mutant powers. I find The Hulk, The Phantom, and Fantastic 4 to be poor choices for this poll though. True, they are superhero movies, but if those are up there though, Elektra, Daredevil, and Catwoman might aswell be too... X-Men movies aren't even a choice, neither is Hellboy, or The Mask, or Van Helsing, or Sin City? Absolutely no offense intended, but ony three of those choices can contend with the best superhero movies, and all the others are flops...
  7. I just realized some things about the movies... It just wouldn't be X-Men if Apocolypse isn't introduced at one point or another, but introducing him into future X-Men movies, along with Cable, will be difficult. I'm thinking Apocolypse could make his way into new X-Men movies soon, because they've introduced Angel... Who if anyone knows, loses his wings and is given a new pair by Apocolypse, and in return becames a horseman of Apocolypse. Apocolypse is also awakened when the mutant population of Earth decreases in any manner, and with all the mutants from the Last Stand losing there powers and getting killed, it's a natural reason to have Apocolypse awaken from his self imposed suspended animation, and be the next enemy for the X-Men. Now, Apocolypse comes hand in hand with Cable, who is the son of Cyclops and the Clone of Jean Grey. Well, with the death of Cyclops, that means it will be really tricky, or just impossible to make Cable exist in the X-Men movies. Cyclops also plays a major part in the defeat of Apocolypse (aswell as Jean Grey). Gambit also plays a pretty big part, and becomes Black Gambit, a horseman of Apocolypse. Introducing Gambit should, in all respect, mean he and Rogue would fall in love. Mistique was also Rogues foster mother... There are a lot of little and big differences between the movies and the comics/shows. I'm just thinking that some of the changes, like the one with Cable, can possibly change the story too much, maybe even causing a fan uproar. Anyone else notice changes that could inhibit things to come?
  8. the NeverEnding Story
  9. Obviously the book is just fiction, but I just thought it was an interesting story because it is totally possible that many fictious things in the book could have happened. I do agree that the writing wasn't very poetic, but I'm pretty sure Dan Brown was thinking he'd sell way more books if simple folk could understand the some what difficult theories. Mabey that was a mistake but the story was still compelling enough for me to read it through and it was a easy read so I just sat back and relaxed instead of pulling a dictionary out every five seconds. What's up with all the D. Code haters out there? It's just a book! I'm not Da Vinci Code hater, I just hate the people who follow it/think it's true. In no way is it a bad story, it is fairly interesting and all. And yeah, more than anything the short chapters was a strategical move made by Dan Brown. Makes it an easy read, and it sure in hell gave people something to talk about. And I do accept possible things that we missed, left out, or that we lost in translation about the life of jesus and his followers(I'm agnostic by the way). There really is no way to know for sure what really happened in that time, though I thought I should point out that the whole marriage with marry magnaline and conspiracy stuff with the code is all fictionaly, absolutely no fact. Even in the Blood and the Holy Grail, it was all fictitious. Haha, I went into Cole's the other day and there are huge sections of just Dan Brown now. He's gotten pretty popular.
  10. From article: Though really interesting, I wouldn't jump to causing it ET yet. We still don't even understand this planet fully, this could just be something weird we just haven't seen yet. I'm kinda weirded out with the whole reproducing without DNA thing. EDIT: stupid spelling mistake
  11. HAHA, "Chinamen can grow up to five feet tall!" or something along those lines... ... yes, and they're known to kick with their feet. haha, wow, what a fiesty species! that episode's a classic

  21. ha! It all makes sense now! Just to make sure that everyone knows, JFK is the only good character on Clone High. Clone High rocked! And what about Ghandi(GFK)? I thought most of there characters were pretty cool. Yeah, Ghandi was alright too I suppose and Abe wasn't bad either, but the female characters sucked ass... Joan Of Arc was way too "generic rebellious teenager" for my tastes. JFK is the only one that I really got into though, since they had the voice for him. Oh and this part: JFK: Nothing bad ever happens to the Kennedys. [car flips over] The best part in clone high is when ponce comes back as a ghost to see JFK, hahaha PONCE! YOUR BACK!!!!
  22. Where the world it moves to you
  23. Song: Talk Show Host Artist: Chris O'Riley Album: Hold me to This Fans of Radiohead would love this guys stuff; He remasters Radiohead songs on grande piano. It's just amazing, and I really suggest checking it out! He has two albums, "True Love Awaits," and the new one "Hold me to This." EDIT: spelling
  24. It was a toss up between "although most people in... lucky that fateful night," and "the pink pants.... we can't beat gravity," for me. I chose that fateful night ;) I have to say this is one of the best threads on here! Kudos, Kyle.
  25. Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
