If you mena that a lot of Bloodhound Gang's lyrics are taken from other artists, you'd be incorrect, but they usually have one or two songs on each album where the chorus is a mockery of the lyrics of an older, far more popular songs. I wouldn't pay $150 for a mic. You might as well keep saving and get a real one, but yeah, renting is a good idea, though i think $10/month is a bit of a stretch. When you go to buy one, which you'll need to do eventually, make offers. Music stores have a huge mark-up, and if a sale means taking $40 off the retail price, they'll usually do it if you're getting a quality piece of equiptment.
