  1. The blue cover I believe was the promo version of it.
  2. He's played in Germany, and I think just around the Buffalo area in the US
  3. Different Names for the Same Thing by Death Cab

  5. That reminds me: The Fall of Man, after the first chorus, before everything kicks back in and he does his little "oh!". Man of Action- "I disappeared today" K, the last verse of Protest is getting my all goosebumped, again. The guitar swells during the last verse of "I Miss New Wave" also give me chills, as do Pat's drum hits in "Avalanche" at 4:11.
  6. I have season 1 on dvd. All 5 episodes of it LOL
  7. I spent the two acoustic sets I saw (Calgary during the acoustic tour and at Calgary Folkfest) which chills going down my back basically the whole time, but if you want some specifics, here goes: Sort of a Protest Song- the whole damn thing, mainly "our lives in these empty spaces aside" and "no pain, no gain" at the end. The Rat Who Would Be King- "love's not enough", right at the end before the "siren" effect- you know what one I'm talking about Strange Days- "backwards into a wall of fire" The Fine Art of Falling Apart- all of it, namely the chorus bits and "I used to think I'd get over everything, but everything just got over me" There's plenty more I'm sure. A non-MG one that stands out was hearing my ex sing "No Rain" by Blind Melon with her a capella group.

Boats and Birds by Gregory and the Hawk if you be my star i'll be your sky you can hide underneath me and come out at night when i turn jet black and you show off your light but you can sky rocket away from me and never come back if you find another galaxy far from here, with more room to fly just leave me your stardust to remember you by if you be my boat i'll be your sea a depth of pure blue just to probe curiosity ebbing and flowing and pushed by a breeze i live to make you free but you can set sail to the west if you want to and past the horizon til i can't even see you far from here where the beaches are wide just leave me your wake to remember you by
  12. It was for a different thread on the site- I was too lazy to actually type it up. Oh, and: http://plus.www.nexopia.com/forumviewthread.php?tid=3299441
  13. Since I replaced the "I" in live with an "O" I can't remember who you are But tomorrow I'll be you Just pick up the phone I'm calling from your house In your room In your name Lying in your bed Following your dreams I listen to your voice get caught in my throat As I sing "This is just a dream" on New Year's Day
  14. Sorrow drips into your heart through a pinhole Just like a faucet that leaks and there is comfort in the sound While you debate half empty of half full, it slowly rises, your love is gunna drown - Marching Bands of Manhatten by Death Cab The mime's conceit has conquered over real beauty - The Best by Trail of Dead What was I to say? How was I to know? Was it your soft voice that said so? - Caterwaul by Trail of Dead If we fly a white flag under a black and blue sky will the red sun rise?- Marches and Maneuvers by Thursday The pieces fall it

  17. Jealous! I love that book, and it's sequel. This here be my book collection. I still have a bunch of books that are at my mom's that I need to bring over here and add.
  18. I love these threads! Here's mine:
  19. You're dreaming ;) At any rate I imagine that if the label doesn't go for it (i don't see why they wouldn't though as they did release the 3 CD 'in a coma') that he'd just put them up on his site for download ala blog player he sometimes uses to tease us with sound-bytes. Of course the bandwidth would cost a pretty penny so there would probably have to be some sort of payment if he wants to have them up for an extended time but I really have no idea how much it costs to host media files. I am well aware that I am dreaming.
  20. I'd bet itunes, or maybe self burnt cd's that he'll ship out for a fee, which computer or hand printed tracklistings. That would be wicked.
  21. I'm pretty sure he's not trying to trick you guys. But yeah, don't worry. I don't think this is the full list at all. Have to agree that I don't think it's a full list. I've read on his blog, and from many of you as well, that he wanted to make a double CD. As far as I'm concerned, 16 songs is by no means enough for a double CD. Unless he makes all the songs 8 minutes long.
  22. "Breath of a Nation" is linked to twice on the front page ;)
  23. I still think it's a fabulous album. They seem to have a bit of an alt-country thing going on in a few tracks.
  24. Not as great as I thought Worlds Apart was, but they sure know how to diversify their sound throughout their albums. Definitely my top pick for the year though. "Life" is a great tune, as is "Sunken Dreams"- I'd say those are my two fave off the album.
