  1. Being a writer full time. What would you do for a klondike bar?
  2. Still hilarious even in reruns. "That boy just ain't right" nuff said. 9/10 The Boondocks.
  3. I really like Matt as a person, I have a tremendous amount of respect for him. As for the music, I can honestly say that I go through phases, where I can't get enough of his music...and times like lately, where I still listen, but I listen other things as well. He can still put together a bad ass motherfucker of an album though.
  4. I use Oil Of Olay with shea butter for my bar soap....any one of several Axe body washes, or Oak by B&B... special time with the lady. Has anyone really missed BishopX?

  13. I have been hiring people in the software industry for well over 15 years. First off like Toadman, I have had MIT students as interns, and they were as useless as tits on a bull. Some of the developer level guys I hired were spot on some of the finest engineers I've ever worked with, but I've had better interns and better hires from way less prestigious schools. As for the transcripts, let me tell you a secret...it's more to confirm you really went and that your resume isn't BS. If people are going to lie on a resume, the first thing they'll lie about is education. I gave less than a damn about grades. I carried a 4.0 GPA most of my college career, and I've seen my hire files at every company I've worked at, and no where did it say, "Wow he carried a 4.0!!!" At any of the schools I went to. So you wanna know how to get the job you want? 1) Honest resume 2) Deviate from the norm, write a short paragraph or two detailing you accomplishments at previous jobs. Keep it real and keep it honest. This is the stuff I wanted to see. 3) Be yourself in the interview, pretention and BS are obvious. No one likes a fake. 4) Research your interviewing company. Know their business and prepare strong questions about them and the position you're interviewing for. 5) DO NOT TRY TO IMPRESS AN INTERVIEWER BY PLAYING A KNOW IT ALL. 6) Eye Contact and show interest 7) Take notes, come prepared. 8) Turn off your goddamned cellphone. 9) Dress for success. Ladies nothing to revealing, and gents dress like you want the job. 10) Let the interviewer lead, do not dominate the conversation. I have a generic list of interview questions floating around somewhere, I will post them when I find them. They can prove very helpful.
  14. Thanks... in this instance, it was a lot more serious than that. I had some health issues come up and I couldn't be as supportive of her as she needed. Also, we had a real serious heart to heart when we went to San Francisco. She told me her fears, and I can honestly say that it was an easy decision for us to change things. The little one is the most important thing in all of this. Our relationship was not in their best interests. No matter how I may feel about them, I could not and would not be a party to anything that would jeopardize that. No worries, no porno stereotypes here. She's a lady of style and grace, class and elegance, and I truly appreciate that. Thank you Lala.
  15. Sad that someone with as much potential as he had when he was young spent his final years as tabloid fodder. He was supposedly a very nice person, through it all. RIP.
  16. He was a king among actors. He could totally steal a movie from everyone else in it, and own it. He will be missed.
  17. boy shorts....I love the way they flatter that ass. Best way to end the day?
  18. "I have some good news and I have some bad news." - My Doctor last month upon informing that my lump was not cancerous, but had to be removed.
  19. Wow take a work related hiatus, and get zapped with multiple burns. Ouch you guys, how you wound me so. Actually, I missed all of you, and I hope everyone is well. ;) The bored isn't dead, just dormant. The breakup was a healthy one, no one's fault. We are still very close friends which is how we started out in the first place. We just realized that with everything going on in our lives we couldn't provide each other with the support we both needed. The new girlfriend is a couple of years older than me. She's a teacher, with a Doctorate in Education. She's really quite intelligent and beautiful, she has two teenage boys. It's a really nice situation, and there's no hurry to get anywhere with it. We enjoy each other immensely, and that's all that really matters. Blonde, with brown eyes, far prettier than mine. So contrary to popular belief, I'm not a total screwup. More details later. Glad to be home though.
  20. The A-Team(Awesome!!!!) Robin Hood(could have had a better pace)
  21. Good song!!! They are always good for a rock out. Rush - Tom Sawyer
  22. I think he listens to Rush, Van Halen, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, The Cure, Matthew Good, Pearl Jam, and DMB. Why you ask? Because it just wouldn't be right for the Lord Thy God, to not rock his Holy Ass off. But maybe we should check in with Mrs. Jesus?
  23. Van Halen - When Push Comes To SHove
  24. Nearly 30 tracks by Erykah Badu, who I will be seeing from 3rd row center, because my lovely lady got the tix for us for my birthday. :-)
