  11. When change is driven via a revenue stream, it comes hard and fast. Only the obstinate try to outlast it, and that's what the record companies have been when it comes to the digital age. The best path to change for them, is to bring in younger management, take long hard look at their customer demographics, and build websites and sell downloads, consistantly...they need to open the vaults to their back catologues....by offering both new music and old music, they can stem the steady bleedout they're enduring now...and maybe even revitalize their place in the music industry. They would appeal to the all of their customers by doing this, and by providing the artists with more control and incentives, they would draw customers who would normally bypass their distribution, and go to other sources such as napster, or non pay options like winmx, thereby cutting down on these ridiculous cases against 14 yr. olds for Piracy.
  12. Thank you Alex!!! Near Fantastica(Acoustic) - MG
  13. That's the same reason I want the 1967 Camaro SS...my mom had one when I was the little tyke you see in my avatar...the sound of the engine roaring used to put me to sleep...For about a month after she left me with my grandparents to do an internship...I would sneak out to sleep in the backseat every night, and my grandfather would come out and bring me back in.
  14. That was a pretty good impression Meg. Meg, you go girl!!!

  20. Exactly, in a lot of Areas of the states, it's the same. My parents just bought a new house, and after Thanksgiving Dinner, I'm going to know down two walls...and even better, in the spring, they're going to add on three more rooms...I'm like shit, just have it built the way you want it.
  21. Yes I do...I was working on my Firebird this morning before work. My first car that I kept....(I bought two others first and fixed them up and sold them.) Was a 1972 Dodge Dart, 4 Door, it was a very light tan, we even found the factory paint and repainted it the same color after we finished the body work. Some crazed Dominican took out the Slant 6 and replaced it with some jury rigged 4 cylinder...Why I don't know....We found a six at a junkyard and my dad rebuilt it. All total it cost 2700 from beginning to end...I sold for 7k, 2 years later. I loved that car...I had a lot of great "fun" in that bad boy, with the bench seating...you could have an orgy in there with room to spare.
  22. Only you would throw that in there Timbo!!!
  23. Thanks Mr. Smithee... We looked at a couple of houses just for the hell of it...and I found exactly what I wanted...so who knows one of these days...
