Love it.

I don't think Villain Of The Year was ever a song, or a poem. I think that was the title of a Manifesto.

That's kinda the problem though, for me anyway. Nobody really knows if he's going to do music anymore or not. The rumor that I've heard, is that he isn't. And that really, really bums me out if that's the case, considering how much his music means to me.

God. This just really, really sucks to hear.

Really disappointing, to say the least. I always looked forward to what he had to say, regardless if I agreed with what he said or not. Sad that it has to come to this and that people are not mature enough.

So what exactly happened that warranted him to take down everything? I dunno. I have a lot of respect for the fact that he takes the time to read the emails he gets, does a personal blog, all of that. Most artists don't do that. And, after with all this shit, they probably keep their email addresses and whatnot private for a reason. There are way too many idiots out there with too much time on their hands.

"I walk behind the crowd and pick up the garbage that was our future without memory, that made the children of the system we created and then forgave. How can you love Jove, Drusilla? and forsake Rome?" and also the entire song of Blue Skies Over Bad Lands I just think the whole album is full of so many well written lyrics, but those two stand out the most to me.

I think it's best work he's ever done. I love the production, I love the 50's and 60's vibe to it. and I think his writing continually gets better on each album and has made way more progress musically and creativly in his last two albums than he ever did with the MGB. So, needless to say, this is my favorite album by him and is turning out to be a personal favorite for me.

I live in Cleveland and got my signed copy today in the mail, so, don't worry, it's on the way. and trust me, it's really worth the wait.
