  1. I'm gonna be a little different and place Audio of Being slightly further down the list... 1. Avalanche 2. Underdogs 3. Beautiful Midnight 4. Audio of Being 5. White Lights 6. Loser Anthems 7. Last of the Ghetto Astronauts 8. Raygun Now, in my opinion, all of the albums are quite close, but Avalanche just seems to be different than the others, which really makes it stand out.
  2. Modest Mouse - Third Planet
  3. Their new album wasn't too shabby either. I'm currently really enjoying it. First three tracks are especially catchy/awesome. Check them out if you haven't. The Beast and the Dragon, Adored Two Sides/Monsieur Valentine I Turn My Camera On
  4. 1) Symbolistic White Walls (love the bass) 2) Fated 3) Weapon (this is getting so much closer than I thought to losing, I was planning on voting Near Fantastica but Weapon is nearly losing) 4)While We Were Hunting Rabbits 5)Prime Time Deliverance
  5. Try some Spoon or some Radiohead. Start with OK Computer.
  6. IMO, you're forcing the wrong music down his throat.
  7. Avalanche Weapon Sort of a Protest Song Tripoli Advertising On Police Cars
  8. Apparations. It never appealed to me and I'm confused as to why it's so popular.
  9. 1) Running for Home 2) Born To Kill 3) While We Were Hunting Rabbits 4) Load Me Up 5) She's Got a New Disguise Near Fantastica is a great song as well, Shortcut. I love Flight Record and LBMSD, but I think Near Fantastica has the edge.
  10. did not expect to see that listed by anybody. anywhere. ever. hah, more people need to check out that album. For a debut, it is amazing. I definately didn't expect to see that listed either. I bought it because of how they did the track list and then it turned out to be really slick.
  11. I'm gonna agree with Cassandra Geminni, which is an awesome song. However,I have no idea how all the lyric websites and forum discussions think it starts with Miranda B. All the lyrics for Cassandra Geminni seem to have the lyrics from Miranda B to the end of the album. Edit: Oh, and I didn't mind any of the album "At the Soundless Dawn" from Red Sparowes.
  12. 1)Everything is Automatic 2)A Long Way Down 3)Near Fantastica 4)Giant There's nothing really wrong with Giant.
  13. I don't really like Radio Bomb or Jenni's Song. I'd also like to say, even though I do really like Suburbia as a song, I wouldn't say its as great as everyone says it is.
  14. 1) Prime Time Deliverance 2) Flashdance II 3) Suburbia 4) Symbolistic White Walls
  15. Near Fantastica. He has a great time making how beautiful it was on the album come to life, and even emphesizes how epic it is.
  16. 1) Bright End of Nowhere 2) Pledge of Allegiance 3) Truffle Pigs 4) Sort of a Protest Song 5) A Long Way Down 6) House of Smoke and Mirrors 7) Omissions of the Omen 8) Running for Home 9) Weapon
  17. Cannibal Corpse. Worst...and heaviest band ever.
  18. Avalanche. Such a beautiful album. Near Fantastica, Weapon, Hunting Rabbits, and House of Smoke and Mirrors are all so wholesome.
  19. Well, I'm new on the boards, so I guess I'll use this thread to show you all a little about me, judging by the music I currently listen to. "Frances" & "Comatorium"- Mars Volta "The Moon & Antarctica"- Modest Mouse "Lateralus" - Tool "Mer De Noms" - APC "In an Aeroplane Over the Sea" - Neutral Milk Hotel "Animals" & "Meddle" - Pink Floyd "Amnesiac" & "The Bends" - Radiohead "Vaya" - At the Drive-In "Avalanche" - Matthew Good I listen to much more than that. I love pretty much everything Radiohead, Pink Floyd, and of course MG and his band. I have recently got back into Avalanche, which brought me to this "bored". Near Fantastica is also my favourite track on the album. Really great song.
