Why is it that whenever someone is talking about god they capitalize every word that represents him, such as "God, He, Him..." We don't do that with anyone else but him. Odd and retarded. Roman Catholic or Catholic? And yes there IS a difference

Time is relative to the perception of the human viewing it. Bible Thumper Story: This story if from one of my house mates and is absolutely hilarious. One day two of my house mates were home and some strange woman knocked on the door. So the one answers it and she's trying to push her political views. This went well considering he's an atheist and strongly believes in God not existing. He tells her no and closes the door, which is about when he got the idea to grab a laptop and bring up a 7-8min video illustrating some very compelling facts against Religion and the reality of God. He tried to get her to view it and chased her down the hall with it, harassing her like she was harassing everyone in the building by going door to door. Her response was a typical as someone who doesn't want to be fed the bullshit that she was peddling. Apparently she looked fearful of even seeing that video and would not even look at the laptop to see another perspective, remaining naive and ignorant of someone else's views while trying to peddle her own views on other people.

It'd be cool to have an afterlife, but I highly doubt it unless we figure out how to ascend into supernatural beings. The fact that people believe in creationism, by one being...aka God..., is preposterous. If God created the universe...who create him? You can't use something as improbably as God to answer something that is equally, or close to, as improbably. It just raises the question...Who Created God? Like Christine said...it just doesn't make sense to go and "sin" and to some building to congregate with others and be completely "forgiven".
