Eff. I've been trying to find an older friend's ID or get a fake but the clock is running down very fast and I really must find a way to get into this show. Anyone have any other suggestions? The lame part is, I don't even drink. Damn non-all-ages shows!

Also a question for showgoers! I bought my ticket for the Calgary show and it wasn't until after paying the forty bucks that I realized the ticket said "no minors". I, of course, am a minor. However I have heard that they will not ID people at the door and they're supposed to do it when you purchase the tickets (which they did not do). I am super excited for this show and really want to figure out whether or not I'm even going to be able to get through the doors. If anyone can shine some light on it--especially anyone from the U of C or a Calgarian who has gone to a no-minors show at the Mac Hall Ballroom before. Please help me out! ><

Yeah, just head to your nearest HMV and get them to order it for you. Since it's an LP you will have to pay at least 50% upfront and they'll probably tell you it might take at least a month or so to get there... but mine came in like four days.

Record players give music a very warm and full sound. For example, Pledge of Allegiance on vinyl sounds a whole lot bigger than it does on a CD. I actually listen to mine. ;)

I have it, and work at HMV--it's still available. I got mine through special order and it arrived in like three days. If you'd like a copy, get your local HMV to order it for you.

I used to have a strings-only version of Strange Days that was incredibly cool, does anyone know where that went?

Thanks for the reply. ;) The reason it sounds bad is because our microphone situation is severely lacking. Not that good microphones = good recording but it helps. That also has to do with the cymbals not sounding good as we never really mixed it properly, or maybe forgot to properly level that track--and yeah, it is the ride he's using. I love the harmonica too, it's my favorite part.

I posted my group's (http://www.racetothestars.com) cover of So Long Mrs. Smith a while ago and never got any response. Here it is again: http://rapidshare.de/files/9495319/So_Long..._Smith.mp3.html
