She's In It For The Money (on Matthewgood.org Now)
c0rl0 replied to PsychoLamb's topic in Matthew Good
they're both two fantastic songs. -
He is, after all, bipolar. He stated this himself. Give it a week and he'll be back to his cheerful self producing the album and scheduling tour dates.
-
i peronally think the new hip album is good. bob rock didn't do a bad job.
-
must all your comments be sarcastic? matt said a week or two ago that he's going to be recording a new album in the "upcoming weeks", whatever that means. i won't get my hopes up until he actually says he's in the studio, because we all know how matt's mind changes minutely.

isn't k-os more on the hip-hop/rap genre? i'm kinda fearful of what the rest of the album will sound like... sunday morning is really good though. -
the boy come home, she's in it for the money, and metal airplanes are fantastic songs... i can't wait to hear them out of the studio.

i think it's really good. i love fly. -
i'd rather he sell the originals
-
i've been working on the weapon intro... it's not too bad... i'd really like to learn generation x-wing, since that's my favourite acoustic song.
-
hey guys... i just picked up an acoustic last month in the attempt to learn the guitar. i've learned some chords and am slowly getting there. any recommendations on easy matt good songs to play? i'm not sure what's hard and what's not. i know most of the tabs are over at the mgbtabarchive. i think it'll be easier to learn if i attempt to learn a song i enjoy (which is all mg/b). also any tips on learning the guitar would be appreciated. thanks!

what does everybody think? 30 tracks...geez... but after a few listens the record is pretty solid... it has some pretty catchy tunes.

The Dears New Album

i had no clue a new dears album was released. i'll have to check it out. was there a single released? if so, i wonder why i haven't heard it on the edge. -
i picked up their cd while i was in toronto last week. overall it's pretty good... pleasantly surprised... i was expecting dead flowers to be the only good song. did they open for matt on the avalanche tour?? i think they did, but i'm not quite sure. anyway, if it was them, they sucked terrible live back then... but their new disc is pretty good. i heard they were at edgefest... any good?
-
i bought their album last week... i think overall it's pretty good. not sure how they are live though.
-
metric is my roommate's favourite band. i never heard them until i moved in with him. they've grown on me in the past few months. we caught them in toronto at dog day afternoon... they were pretty good live, but it would've been a more enjoyable experience had the crowd been a bit more tame. after a first listen i can understand how one might think they suck... but they've definitely grown on me.

i like it... it's different... -
didn't mgb open for pearl jam before?
-
that video doesn't do near fantastica justice live at all. it's by far one of my favourite life songs. everytime i saw the band play it... it was absolutely stunning.
-
god i love blue skies

I like it. Not a big fan of the first verse, but it gets better as it goes.

As far as I know there was never any video footage for that show, just audio. If there is video, it hasn't been given to any of the fans who are the major MG bootleg sharers. -
Suburbia. It's a nice song to listen to every once and a while, but I definitely don't get the Suburbia craziness that people tend to have...
