  1. I am a Catholic, but we don't go around like Bible thumpers, forcing the issue of hell, and you must be saved in order to make heaven, it is the faith to know that God is real

  7. Well I heard there was a secret chord that David played and it pleased the Lord But you don't really care for music, do ya? Well it goes like this : The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall and the major lift The baffled king composing Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah... Well your faith was strong but you needed proof You saw her bathing on the roof Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya And she tied you to her kitchen chair She broke your throne and she cut your hair And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah... (Yeah but) Baby I've been here before I've seen this room and I've walked this floor, (You know) I used to live alone before I knew ya And I've seen your flag on the marble arch and love is not a victory march It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah... Well there was a time when you let me know What's really going on below But now you never show that to me do ya But remember when I moved in you And the holy dove was moving too And every breath we drew was Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah... Maybe there's a God above But all I've ever learned from love Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya And it's not a cry that you hear at night It's not somebody who's seen the light It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah I will never forget the 1st time I heard this song, as it was played as I left a funeral for a friend, as it played, we all just stopped and took it in.

  10. I have no problem doing this, in fact, it has become my tradition of sorts starting with the release of Avalanche. If I have personal days at work, I am going to use them. Matt is not the only person I have taken time off just to buy a CD.
  11. Jeff Buckley-So Real: Songs From Jeff Buckley Ryan Adams-Gold
  12. Hallelujah-Jeff Buckley (cover version) The lyrics and tone of the song is just moving, this is one of the best covers of any song I have heard, its just raw emotion at its best.

  22. I have seen George Clinton live, when they appeared on stage, as guests of Phish, on 12/30/2003, as Phish played Makisupa Police man, Trey invited George Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic on stage for a medley including elements of Botta Butt, P-Funk, Give Up The Funk (Tear the Roof off the Sucker), and One Nation Under a Groove, which was the strangest group of people I have ever seen live.
  23. That is not what being a Christian is about, being Catholic, I am sickened by what Jesus Camp portrays, making kids feel guilty, to the point of crying cause of their sin is anti-Biblical.
  24. While I am not a huge fan of classical music, my father played a piece of music by Edward Elgar called Nimrod. The music starts very quite, and builds and builds, to a triumphant blast of trumpets, strings, and percussion, only to fade out, the way the piece started. Edit: Grammar Error
