It is a wonderful album. Because a band changes musical styles people think they "sellout", and therefore no longer enjoy them. I don't find the album whiny this is one of the best albums 2009. Its new, its fresh, and who cares if it is queen like, this is my 2nd favorite album after Absolution.
For those who want songs from AOB, there is a good chance that Matt will not play songs from the album. So stop begging for it.
The last time I heard anything from AOB was The Rat Who Would Be King in 2005.
Just listen to "We Are All On Drugs" and you'll see how much Weezer has gone down hill. The last good song they did was The Greatest Man That Ever Lived.
But I am 33 and limited in things I can do such as standing for long periods because of my knee. The bands I have always wanted to see I have seen, and I am just waiting for Muse, and the Pearl Jam tour next year, and the moe. tour. After that I think I will be done for a while.
